Logo Design, Summer 2025
The Concord Chamber Music Society (CCMS) provides enriching concerts to the community of the greater Boston area.
Working with CCMS’s artistic directors, Daniel Chong and Jessica Bodner, I created a logo that reflects their values of artistry and community.
Typography
I started by comparing the alignment and capitalization of the words in the logo.

Color & Typeface Exploration
First Iterations
Violin and music note motifs, exploring type hierarchy.
Second Iterations
Based on feedback, I incorporated thinner lines and worked toward a more modern, abstract look.
Final Iterations
After we decided on the typeface Minerva Modern, I began to experiment with an abstract violin formed with the letters of CCMS and narrowed down color choices.
Final Design
The final design features right-aligned type, an abstract violin made with paint strokes, and a thin line separating the two.
